We stayed at the "Blush Apartment" on Rampa delle Mura Aurelie. The location is perfect - 2 minute walk away from the Vatican and within easy reach of Rome's other major attractions - by foot or by public transport. It is located in a non-touristy part of Rome - which is great and very very close to wine bars / restaurants, local supermarket. Parking is a bit tricky but available - if you arrive in the daytime it will be difficult, spaces become available in the evening (so you could park your car in a pay and display very close by until a space on the street becomes available - this is free). My advice would be park it - and don't move it until you leave!!
The apartment itself is small - a bathroom, kitchen and bedroom. Perfect for a couple! There is a good shower and good kitchen facilities (gas cooker, microwave, electric grill oven, fridge freezer, pots/pans etc etc). Air con in the bedroom - amazing! AND SKY TV + FREE WIFI!!
There is no washing machine (unless we missed that).
