In August 2014, my wife, adult daughter and I stopped one night at Mulino di Prada when driving to Tuscany. We arrived late and a bit flustered because of an incident en route but Francesco greeted us with warmth and courtesy. We occupied the Pavoni [=Peacock] suite. It was delightful – clean, spacious, quiet, comfortable, well appointed with en suite bathroom. Next morning, we briefly met Sabina and her Mum. They produce delicious home made breads, jams and preserves. The copious breakfast also included freshly laid eggs from the farm hens and home produced honey as well as some local delicacies. We were a bit reluctant to leave and we wished we had stayed for a few nights instead of just one. When we next visit Italy, Mulino di Prada will be one of our destinations.
